Stageworks productions cast actors in age-appropriate roles. We utilize teens in children roles and adults in adult roles. Our rehearsal process is a rigorous one, with six weeks of rehearsal five nights a week, most nights until 10pm.
This kind of rehearsal schedule is not conducive for younger children and is usually very draining and emotional for them. For that reason, we recommend actors be at least 13 years old in order to handle the stress of homework, rehearsal, memorizing and multi-tasking. Every audition notice that is sent out identifies a minimum age request.
